Sarah Bunton is a writer, public speaker, and advocate for abuse survivors and invisible illnesses.

Having been raised in a cult, she faces her PTSD head-on by using her voice to raise awareness about physical, sexual, and mental abuse.

In addition to challenging social taboos about mental health, she also shines a light on invisible illnesses. Sarah was born with Lupus (an autoimmune disease), Type III Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (a connective tissue disorder), and asymmetrical mitral valve prolapse (a heart condition).

Despite hitting the jackpot for mental and physical issues (thanks a lot, universe), she chooses to handle every hiccup with humor. When she’s not binge-watching classic sci-fi flicks or British comedies, she’s busy trying to find the perfect GIF for every occasion.
